Savannah Tiger Painting

Through dry, golden grass, a tiger walks toward the camera, one front paw lifted mid-stride and its tail curled up behind it. Its mouth is slightly open, its amber eyes are fixed on something to the left, and the bare trees behind it melt into a soft blur of beige and gray.

A quiet wildlife photograph

This piece is a single landscape canvas printed from a photograph, so every stripe, whisker and tuft of fur stays sharp against the out-of-focus background. The colors are those of a dry season: straw, sand and the warm orange of the coat, with black stripes as the only dark notes. The name speaks of a savannah, though wild tigers live only in Asia, and the open grass and leafless trees here are closer to the dry forests where many of them hunt. That calm, earthy palette sits easily above a sofa or a sideboard in a neutral room. Other photographs and painted tigers hang in our tiger canvas collection.

Sizes, frame and canvas

Five sizes are offered: 20x25cm, 30x40cm, 50x60cm, 60x75cm and 70x90cm. Each comes as the canvas alone, under No Frame, or Framed, and the canvas size chart sets out every format. The image is printed in HD directly onto a cotton and linen canvas with a reflection-free finish, light enough to hang from one nail.
