Tiger Figurine Surprise Attack

Leaping off a gnarled rock, the tiger in this resin figurine stretches its front legs forward, paws reaching and jaws wide in a snarl. Its body forms one long diagonal from the curled tail to the reaching paw, painted in orange and gold with black stripes and a white throat and belly.

Caught in mid-leap

Only the hind legs still touch the rock, and a twisted branch rising from it holds the body in the air, which gives the piece its sense of speed. The rock is painted in dark browns and grays, and the close-up photographs show patches of yellow-green moss on it, along with the white fangs and the pink tongue inside the open mouth. Tiger statues hold a place in feng shui traditions, explored in our guide can we keep a tiger statue at home. More sculpted tigers stand in our tiger statue collection.
