Carved Tiger Eye Ring

A braided frame in a warm copper tone wraps the oval of tiger eye on this ring, like a twisted cord laid around the stone. The shoulders are darkened silver engraved with flowing arabesques, and a field of tiny raised dots fills the space between the scrolls and the frame.

Two tones around a golden stone

The copper braid sits between the honey-brown stone and the cooler, oxidized silver, so each part of the ring keeps its own color. The tiger eye is cut as a smooth, high cabochon, and its golden fibers throw a bright line of light across the dome. The carving is in the metal: the scrolls on the shoulders are cut deep enough to hold shadow. It is a large ring that covers the base of the finger, in the spirit of the engraved signets seen across our tiger eye ring collection.

Silver and sizes
