Tiger Nap Mat

A plump cartoon tiger lies flat on its belly across this quilted mat, legs spread wide and eyes closed in a deep sleep. The mat is cut to the outline of the animal, with small round ears, curved lashes for the shut eyes, a black triangle nose and long whiskers drawn in black, and fine dashed lines fanning out from the muzzle. Its white body is scattered with bold black X marks in place of stripes, and a black binding runs all the way around the edge.

A tiger made for naps

Everything about this design is about rest: the closed eyes, the relaxed pose and the soft quilted surface, stitched in rows of small puffed squares. In black and white it fits a calm, graphic room, and it reads well on a dark floor, as the photos show it beside a sofa among toys. The drawing is simple and friendly, closer to a picture book than to a wild animal. More designs, from lifelike coats to Tibetan patterns, are gathered in our tiger rug collection.

Size, material and care

The mat measures 185x130cm. It is made of 100% polyester, with the design printed onto the quilted top. It is washed by hand.
