Tiger Aura Print Rug

A tiger rests on a white ground across this rug, painted in loose watercolor strokes. Its head is raised and turned toward the room, its striped body stretches to the right, and one front leg curls forward in the foreground. Splashes and drips of ochre and orange paint scatter around the animal, as if the picture were still drying on the paper.

The white background keeps the design light, so the rug sits easily in front of a gray sofa or under a coffee table without darkening the floor. The stripes are drawn in fine black lines that fade at the edges, which gives the tiger a sketched, airy look rather than a photographic one. The corners are rounded and the edge is finished with a stitched binding. The underside is a white felt-like backing dotted with small black dots and flower shapes. More designs, from Tibetan patterns to photographic coats, are gathered in our tiger rug collection.
