Tibetan Tiger Tapestry in the Snow

Deep white snow surrounds the tiger on this wall tapestry. It lies with its front legs sunk into the drift and its head raised in a snarl that bares the fangs and a pink tongue, its thick orange coat, white cheeks and dark stripes standing out sharply against the bright background.

A tiger in a winter landscape

The heavy coat and the snowy setting recall the tigers that live in cold northern forests, where long fur and a pale ruff help them through the winter. Because white snow fills the background and the lower edge, the image stays light and bright, which suits a pale wall in a bedroom, an office or a living room. The tiger's stare and open jaws give the scene its energy. Calmer portraits and colorful designs complete our tiger tapestry collection.
