Caught in the middle of grooming, a tiger licks its paw in close-up across this fleece blanket, printed in shades of black, white and gray. Pale eyes watch from under striped brows, the whiskers spread wide, and the tongue curls over the fur of a raised paw in the lower corner. The reverse side is plain white.

The photograph is printed on one side only, at a scale that fills the whole surface, so the face reads clearly whether the blanket is spread over a bed or draped over the back of a sofa.
