Authentic Tiger Pocket Watch

A tiger stands on a rocky ledge across the front cover of this pocket watch, head turned to the side with its jaws open in a roar. The cover is cut away around the animal, so the dial shows through between its legs and behind its curled tail, with small clouds and a plant worked in relief at the edges. The whole case has an aged bronze tone, with a beaded rim and an ornate bow below the crown.

Openwork front, engraved back

Lift the cover and the full dial appears: white, with bold black Arabic numerals from 1 to 12, a fine outer track and decorative hands. The word quartz is printed just below the center. The back of the case is covered in engraved leaves, flowers and scrolls, so the watch looks finished from every side. Size and movement

The watch runs on a quartz movement. The case measures 48mm in diameter and 15mm thick, and it hangs from a matching bronze-tone chain 80cm long.
