Black & White Bengal Tiger Painting

A pale tiger lies with its head on its side in fresh snow, gazing up toward the viewer with calm, light eyes. Flakes of snow rest on its forehead and along its black stripes, and the whole scene is printed in shades of white, gray and black.

A quiet tiger in monochrome

With no color to compete, the eye goes to the details: the curve of the ears, the long white whiskers, the pattern of stripes that wraps around the face. The white background lets the print sit easily on a light wall and next to gray or neutral furniture. The pale coat recalls the white tigers of India, which are Bengal tigers born with a rare light coloring. More tiger prints, in color and in black and white, fill our tiger canvas collection.
