A tiger turns its head to the right and roars on this embroidered patch, jaws wide open on a red tongue and pale yellow fangs. Orange and black stitching builds the fur in long ruffled strokes, cream threads trace the whiskers and the cheek ruff, and a thick black border follows the outline of the head.
A roaring profile in thread
Seen from the side, the head shows a narrowed eye ringed in gray, a wrinkled muzzle and the whole curve of the open mouth. The dense stitching gives the fur some relief.
