Black and White Tiger Patch

A tiger roars face-on in this black and white patch, its jaws thrown wide to show long fangs, the tongue and rows of small teeth. The whole head is drawn in fine black ink lines on white, from the dense stripes on the forehead to the tufts of fur at the cheeks and chin, with two pale eyes fixed straight ahead.

The design has no color at all, only black strokes of different weights, which gives it the look of a tattoo flash or an engraving. The contrast keeps the roar readable from a distance, and the monochrome style sits well on denim, a canvas bag or a plain jacket of almost any color. Size and application

The patch measures 12.6x14.2cm and the image is printed. It is a heat transfer patch that goes on with a household iron: lay the garment flat, place the patch, press with the steam turned off, then peel away the backing film.
