Black Tiger Ring of Shadows

A roaring tiger head covers the whole top of this black ring, cast in high relief with small ears, a creased brow and jaws open on a row of short fangs. The finish is black from the dotted muzzle to the back of the band, so the stripes and the fur show only as engraved lines that catch the light.

Carved detail in a single dark tone

With no second color to lean on, the design reads through its texture: deep grooves for the stripes across the forehead, fine dots on the muzzle where the whiskers grow, and long strokes of fur that sweep down the cheeks and onto the shoulders of the band.
