Black Tiger Tapestry

A tiger gazes out of the dark on this wall tapestry, its face filling almost the whole width of the cloth. The amber eyes are calm and level, the nose is pink, long white whiskers fan out on both sides, and the orange coat with its black stripes fades into a pale ruff under the chin, all set against a solid black ground.

A tiger portrait against black

The black background does the work of a frame: it pushes the face forward and keeps the colors of the fur bright, so the portrait reads clearly from across a room. Hung above a bed, a sofa or a sideboard, it turns a bare wall into a single strong image without crowding the space. The tiger in the picture is orange; the black of the name belongs to the background. Other prints, from white tigers to painted scenes, hang in our tiger tapestry collection.

Sizes, material and care

Four sizes are offered: 150x100cm, 150x130cm, 150x200cm and 180x230cm. The tapestry is made of 100% polyester with the image applied by direct printing. The fabric is very light, so it hangs easily, and it is washed by hand.
