Modern Design Tiger Carpet

A tiger's head rises from a band of geometric tiles on this round rug. The painted face looks straight ahead with pale green eyes against a slate blue background, while the lower half breaks into triangles of orange, sky blue, black, cream and gold, edged along the top by a thin gold line.

Painted portrait meets graphic pattern

The contrast drives the design: the tiger is rendered in loose, painterly strokes, with white whiskers and a gray ruff at the cheeks, and its chin dips into the tiles as if the animal were resting behind a wall of pattern. The circle frames the head like a medallion, which suits a reading corner, a bedroom or the floor under a round table, and a thin dark border finishes the edge. Sizes, materials and care

Six diameters are offered: 60cm, 80cm, 100cm, 120cm, 140cm and 160cm. The rug is made of 100% polyester with the design printed in high definition, and it measures 8mm thick. The back is plain white with a soft, felt-like surface. The rug is washed by hand.
