Cat & Tiger Reflection Painting

A small tabby kitten steps up to a puddle on a tiled floor and looks down at its reflection, and what looks back is a white tiger with black stripes. The scene is split across five canvas panels, with the kitten and its tiger reflection on the tall center panel and the wet floor, a doorway and a woven rug spreading out to the sides.

The kitten that sees a tiger

The picture plays on an old idea: inside every house cat sleeps the instinct of its wild cousins. The tones stay soft, in grays, beige and warm light, so the white tiger becomes the brightest point of the whole piece. The panels step down in height from the center outward, which gives the set a wide, balanced shape over a sofa or a bed. More designs are gathered in our tiger canvas collection.

Panels, sizes and frame

The set is printed on five canvas panels of cotton and linen. It comes in three sizes, Medium, Large and XL, and each can be ordered as canvas only or with a wooden frame. The canva painting size chart lists the dimensions of each size.
