Contemporary Tiger Painting

Painted in a loose watercolor style, a tiger rests with one heavy front paw stretched forward, as if lying on a rock ledge, and looks out with steady golden eyes. Its coat runs from deep orange to cream with dark stripes, and fine splashes of gray and brown paint spread across the white background around it.

Watercolor detail on a light background

The face is worked with care, down to the pink nose and each whisker, then the brushwork loosens toward the body, where the paint drips and fades into white. That mix of precise and free gives the print its contemporary feel, and the pale ground keeps it light on the wall. In the room photo the tiger hangs among other animal prints in the same style. Our tiger canvas collection brings together more tiger art.

Sizes and canvas

The image is printed directly onto a cotton and linen canvas in a portrait format. Six sizes are offered: 15x20cm, 20x25cm, 30x40cm, 40x50cm, 50x70cm and 60x80cm. Only the tiger canvas is sold here, and no frame option is listed, so the black frames and the other animals in the room photo are for display. The canva painting size chart compares each size.
