Figurine Tigress and Her Cub

A tigress walks forward with her cub held gently in her mouth, the little one hanging loose with its legs and tail dangling below her chin. Her coat is a soft orange crossed by dark brown stripes, with white fur on the chest, the belly and around the eyes, and her long tail ends in a curl. The cub is painted in a deeper orange with its own fine stripes.

A mother carrying her young

Tigresses really do move their cubs this way, by the loose skin of the neck, when they shift them to a safer den. The figurine captures that moment in mid stride, one front paw ahead of the other, the head lowered a little under the weight. It stands well on a shelf or a desk, and it joins a play scene of wild animals just as easily. More big cats in every pose are gathered in our tiger figurine collection.

Size and material

The figurine measures 13x3.5x6cm. It is made of PVC plastic with smooth surfaces, and the stripes, the eyes and the claws are painted in fine detail.
