Land of the Tiger Table

Many times taller than the car below it, a tiger walks down a mountain ridge at sunset, head lowered toward a red off-road vehicle parked on the dry grass. A person sits at the front of the vehicle and looks up at the animal, while golden light spills over the hills and the clouds behind it.

A giant tiger in a surreal landscape

The picture plays with scale. The vehicle, with its roof rack and spare wheel, looks like a toy beside the striped giant, and the sweep of the mountains makes the tiger seem to have stepped out of the land itself. The warm orange of the sky echoes the coat, so the whole scene glows in amber tones. The wide landscape format reads well above a sofa, a bed or a desk. Our tiger canvas collection holds more scenes, from quiet portraits to dramatic settings.
