Splashes of emerald, teal and violet paint surround the face of a white tiger on this watercolor tattoo. Its pale blue eyes look straight ahead, two purple butterflies settle near its ear and its eye, and below the white muzzle the fur melts into a dark shape flecked with tiny white dots, like a patch of night sky.

The design mixes two techniques: fine black lines for the stripes, the whiskers and the eyes, and loose washes of color that drip and spatter past the outline, with small round drops of green and blue scattered around the head. The pink nose and the soft pink splashes on either side of the face bring warmth to the cool palette. In the wild, a white coat appears only rarely, in Bengal tigers that carry a recessive gene, which is part of why the white tiger is such a popular subject. Size and application
The tattoo comes on a sheet of 14.8x21 cm and is applied with a moistened sponge. The listed ingredients include an acrylates copolymer, propylene glycol, petrolatum, linseed and soybean oils, mineral oil and color pigments such as iron oxides and titanium dioxide.
