Indian Tiger Painting

Drawn in side profile, a tiger stands facing left with its long tail curving down behind it, and each of its stripes is filled with a tiny pattern of paisleys, swirls and leaves in blue, teal, gold and violet. The coat is a warm ochre with a white belly and white paws, outlined in a fine dark line, on a cream background brushed with gray strokes like an old plaster wall.

Patterned stripes in a decorative style

The ornament inside the stripes recalls the paisley motifs of Indian textiles, which gives the picture its name and its handcrafted feel. The flat side view, close to the look of a print on fabric, keeps the whole animal in sight from nose to tail. Sizes and canvas

The canvas is square, in six sizes: 30x30cm, 40x40cm, 50x50cm, 60x60cm, 70x70cm and 80x80cm. The only model is No Frame, so the canvas comes on its own; the black frame in the room photo is there for display. The canvas is made of cotton and linen, and the canvas size chart lists the measurements.
