Lady and the Tiger Puzzle

A geisha in a flowing white kimono rides on the back of a reclining tiger in this jigsaw puzzle, a red parasol raised above her head and gold ornaments in her black hair. Her robe spills over the tiger's striped back in patterns of purple, red and green, while soft pastel clouds drift around the pair.

A painted scene in Japanese style

The picture has the look of a watercolor illustration, with a small red seal in its lower corner. The tiger lies calm, head low and amber eyes open, its long tail curling up behind the parasol. The kimono patterns, the clouds and the fur give areas of very different color and texture, which helps sort the pieces as the scene comes together. Pieces and size

The puzzle has 1000 wooden pieces, each 2mm thick, and the finished picture measures 50 x 75cm. The pieces come in a cardboard box. The second photo shows that packaging, with a different puzzle design inside it.
