Large Tiger Embroidered Patch

Half of this tiger is drawn in black ink and half is splashed with watercolor. On the left, crisp black strokes trace the ears, the stripes and a pale blue eye on white fur. On the right, the face dissolves into bursts of blue, violet, red and orange, and the eye on that side glows amber. A wash of blue runs straight down the nose and divides the two halves.

The loose splatters around the edges give the design the energy of a painting caught mid-stroke, while the fine whiskers and the steady gaze keep it clearly a tiger. Size and application

The patch measures 15x21cm. The design is an HD print with bright, saturated color, and the patch is applied with an iron, which fixes it to a jacket, a bag or a pair of jeans. The white around the tiger in the photo is the background of the picture, so the outline of the patch itself may differ slightly from the edge of the painted head.
