Patch Tiger Indian Festival

Splashes of paint in blue, red, orange, purple and yellow burst outward from a tiger face on this patch. At the center the face stays clear: pale blue-green eyes, a red-brown nose and white whiskers, with black stripes fading into the drops and spatters that fly around it in every direction.

A burst of festival color

The patch takes its name from an Indian festival, and the splashes recall Holi, the spring festival of colors when people throw clouds of colored powder at one another in the streets. Here the colors gather into the head of the tiger, the national animal of India. Because the design has no solid outline and its edges dissolve into droplets, it looks most striking on a plain white or light garment such as a T-shirt, a tote bag or a sweatshirt. Size and application

The design measures 12x12.3cm. It is a printed design rather than an embroidered one, and it attaches to clothing with an iron.
