Tiger Figurine: Fury

Mouth open on long white fangs, this tiger rears its head back and roars as it lunges forward with one front paw raised off the ground. Its orange coat is painted with irregular black stripes, the chest, belly and inner legs are pale cream, and the tail stretches out behind it to a black tip.

Fury in a single pose

The sculpture captures a split second of motion: the weight on three legs, the shoulders bunched, the head thrown back with the pink tongue and the teeth showing. Fine ridges across the body give the fur a texture, and the white whisker pads and pale eyes are picked out in paint. The realistic style makes it at home among other wild animal figures, on a shelf or in a play set. Our list of movies with tigers shows how often this roar has reached the screen, and our tiger figurine collection holds more poses.
