Relentless Rings Tiger Claw

Scaled, jointed claws reach over the edges of an oval tiger eye on this ring, their polished tips curling down to hold the stone from every side. The domed cabochon shows a band of golden brown light against a deep brown, and the bright claws stand out against the blackened grooves between them.

Claws that grip the stone

The claws run back along both shoulders as long, segmented toes, so the grip continues from the stone all the way to the band. Where many tiger eye rings frame the stone with a smooth bezel, here the setting itself is the motif, and the dark recesses give the claws a raw, sculpted look. The stone shows the shifting band of light that gave tiger eye its name, and in feng shui tradition it is associated with rest and calm. Steel, colors and sizes

The ring is made of 316L stainless steel and weighs about 15g. It comes in Gold and Silver: the gold version has a warm gold tone with darkened grooves, and the silver version pairs the same brown stone with bright steel.
