Silver S925 Pi Xiu Tiger Ring

The broad face of a Pi Xiu fills the top of this ring, with round copper-toned eyes, a copper-toned nose and a finely dotted muzzle above two small fangs. A gold-tone mark runs down the middle of its forehead, and swirling cloud scrolls curl all around the edge of the head.

The Pi Xiu of Chinese tradition

The Pi Xiu is a mythical creature of Chinese tradition, often pictured as a winged beast between a lion and a dragon. In feng shui it is believed to draw wealth and keep misfortune away, which is why its image appears on charms and rings. Here it is shown face on, with a wide feline mask, so it sits naturally among the big cat designs of our tiger ring collection. The mix of silver, gold-tone and copper-toned details gives the face its color.

Silver, fit and details

The ring is made of S925 sterling silver, with the S925 stamp inside a smooth, polished band. The hollow back of the head carries two round studs and engraved characters. One adjustable size is offered, with a split in the band at the back so it can be eased to the finger, and the ring size chart gives the finger measurements for reference.
