Square Tiger's Eye Ring

A tall rectangle of tiger eye, cut as a smooth cabochon with a gently rounded top, sits in a squared box setting with a finely notched upper edge. Its stripes shift from honey to deep brown, and a bright line of light moves across them as the ring turns.

Pierced scrolls and an open band

The shoulders are pierced with swirling scrollwork, and under the stone the gallery is worked in a honeycomb pattern, visible from inside the band. The band is open at the back, which lets it adjust to the finger. With its large stone and broad setting, the ring has a strong presence on the hand.
