Sushi Cake Mold Tiger and His Friends

Four little rice faces line up on a plate in this set's photo: a yellow tiger with black stripes on its brow, a white bear, a pink pig and a green frog, each with round ears and features cut from seaweed and cheese. All of them come from the same orange head-shaped mold.

One mold, a tiger and his friends

The orange part is a round head with two round ears and a long handle. Rice is pressed inside with a flat pusher and topped with a domed cover, which gives the ball its rounded shape. Four white punch plates then cut the details from sheets of seaweed or cheese: eyes, noses, smiles, whisker marks, pointed and long ears, and the stripes that turn a plain face into a tiger. A small yellow pad comes with the set. Tinted rice changes the animal, as the pink pig and green frog show. Other shapes for sweets and treats are in our tiger candy mold collection.

Materials and size

The set is made of polypropylene and resin, and the largest part measures 7 x 11 cm. The pieces come apart for rinsing after use.
