Tibetan Rug Tiger

A Tibetan-style tiger spreads across a deep forest green field on this rug, drawn flat like a pelt with its four legs flung out toward the corners and its tail curled back over the body. Black stripes and brown spiral motifs cover the orange coat, a band of black dots runs along each flank, and the face looks out with round eyes and pale whiskers, and every paw ends in pink claws.

The drawing follows the look of traditional Tibetan tiger rugs, which show the animal opened out flat, head and paws reaching the edges and stripes turned into ornament. Size and material

The rug measures 84 x 60 inches (7' x 5'), large enough to lie in front of a sofa or beside a bed. It is made of 100% polyester, the design is applied by heat dye sublimation printing, and a thin white stitched edge runs around the border.
