Tiger Backpack in Cage

Rusty iron bars cut across the front of this backpack, set into a cracked stone wall, and behind them a tiger watches from a dark gap in the masonry. Only its striped forehead, its eyes and its muzzle catch the light, while weathered gray stone streaked with rust fills the panel above and below.

A tiger behind bars

The scene plays with depth: the stones and the three bars stand sharp in the foreground, and the tiger stays half in shadow, pressed close to the gap. It reads as a quiet plea for a wild animal kept from the wild. The image is applied by direct digital printing across the front panel, framed by black fabric on the sides, the top and the straps. Pockets and details
