A snarling tiger head hangs inside a wide gold-tone hoop on each of these earrings. The head is cast in relief, with deep-cut stripes, narrowed eyes and an open mouth showing its fangs, and the darker recesses bring out every line of the fur against the shine of the raised surfaces.
A charm that swings inside the hoop
Each earring is built in three parts. A small circle sits at the earlobe on a stud post, the large polished hoop hangs from it, and the tiger charm dangles from the top of the hoop, free to turn in the open space as the head moves. The earrings are made of zinc alloy with a glossy gold-tone finish. Each one measures 6.3 x 6.6cm, and the hoop has a listed weight of 17g.
