Tiger Cub Figurine

A young tiger cub stands on all four paws in this small figurine, head turned toward the viewer and mouth slightly open as if calling out. Its coat is a warm orange with dark brown stripes, the chin and chest are white, the nose is pink and the tail rises behind it with a pale tip. Big rounded ears and a spotted forehead give it the soft, unfinished look of a very young cat.

A painted cub in miniature

At only a few centimeters long, the cub stands steadily on its own four feet, small enough for a shelf, a desk or a little animal scene. The paint picks out the stripes on the legs, the dark pads of the paws and the shading around the eyes. Tigers have long been stars on screen too, as our complete list of movies with tigers shows. More animals in miniature are gathered in our tiger figurine collection.
