This little brass tiger stands on all four paws with its head turned toward the viewer, ears up and gaze steady. Deep, flowing grooves trace the stripes along its back and flanks, the tail curls up at the tip, and an antique brown patina covers the whole figure, with brighter metal showing on the raised edges.
A tiny figure with full detail
Despite its small size, the sculpture keeps the details of the face, the ruff around the neck and the toes of each paw. Its long body and slender legs give it the look of a lean young tiger, caught as it pauses mid-step. The figure fits on a desk, between books on a shelf or on a windowsill, and it makes a quiet companion for larger pieces.
