Tiger Eye Gemstone Ring Hexagon

A six-sided point of tiger eye, faceted to a tip at both ends, lies flat across the top of this ring like a small crystal wand. Its long sides show the stripes of the stone in amber, gold and dark brown, and the light slides along them as the hand moves.

A hexagonal point held by four prongs

The point rests on a narrow bar and is held by four claw prongs, two at each end, which leave almost the whole stone in view. Below it runs a wide, flat band of polished silver-tone metal, cut with a long slot near the setting.
