Tiger Eye Jewelry Necklace

Black lava stone sets the tone of this necklace. Its matte, pitted beads run all the way from the clasp around the back of the neck, then brown tiger eye beads begin to appear among them and gather at the front, where most of the stones are the warm, banded brown of tiger eye.

Dark at the back, warm at the front

The mix changes along the strand, so the necklace reads almost all black from the side and shows its tiger eye only where it falls at the front. The rough texture of the lava beside the polished shine of the tiger eye gives the piece its contrast. A plain round toggle clasp in silver-tone metal, with small ridged caps at each end, closes it. Size and details

The tiger eye beads and the lava stone beads both measure 8mm. The necklace comes in two lengths, 45cm or 50cm. Some of the photographs show other color mixes, red tiger eye with matte black, or glossy black and blue; the necklace offered here is the black lava and brown tiger eye version.
