Silver curls open out like small leaves above and below the oval stone of this ring, framing a cabochon of tiger eye in warm caramel brown. Around the stone run a twisted rope border and a row of raised silver beads, darkened in the recesses so every pattern reads clearly.
An antique-style scrollwork setting
The design borrows from old silverwork: spirals, beading and rope twists built up around a modest stone, then given an oxidized finish that makes the polished tops of the curls shine. The setting spreads wide across the finger, while the band behind it narrows to a slim, plain shank. It is one of the more ornate pieces in our tiger eye ring collection.
Silver, stone and sizes
The ring is made of 925 sterling silver, stamped S925 inside the band, and weighs 5.3g. The tiger eye cabochon measures 8x10mm. Sizes run from 6 to 10, and the ring size chart explains how to measure a finger at home.
