Tiger Eyes Necklace

A tree of life is drawn in silver-tone wire over a teardrop of tiger eye on this necklace. Its trunk is twisted from several strands at the base of the stone, and its branches climb and fork across the golden brown surface, while the bands of light in the stone show through between them.

A wire tree and a strand of beads

The wire wraps around the edge of the drop and gathers at the top under a coiled cap, so the stone sits in a light frame with its back left open. It hangs from a strand of round tiger eye beads in honey and dark brown shades, broken up by small groups of silver-tone disc spacers, and the strand closes with a sliding knot on a brown cord, so the length can be adjusted. Size and details

The teardrop measures 44 x 26 x 11mm, and the necklace is 59cm long in total. The pattern of light and dark bands differs slightly from one drop to the next.
