Tiger Head Chest Temporary Tattoo

Warm orange washes shape the head of this watercolor tiger, from the rounded ears to the broad, rosy nose, while teal and navy strokes pick out the stripes along its cheeks. Its green-gold eyes sit in the middle of the face, and thin drips of paint fall from the chin beneath long white whiskers.

The colors are laid on as if with a wet brush: the orange of the brow and the muzzle blends into soft browns, and the blue and green of the stripes bleed out at the edges into fine spatters. There is no hard outline around the head, so the portrait seems to emerge from the skin. Despite the name, the design is a compact face rather than a large chest piece, and it fits a wrist, an ankle or the side of the neck as easily as the chest. The design measures 6 x 10 cm and is applied with a moistened sponge. The listed ingredients include acrylates copolymer, propylene glycol, petrolatum and mineral oil, and the pigments include Yellow 5, Yellow 6, Red 7 and Blue 1.
