Thread by thread, a tiger's face takes shape on this embroidered patch, looking straight ahead with yellow eyes and a red nose. Orange, cream and black stitches follow the direction of the fur, and the lower edge breaks into a ragged fringe of gray and white stitching where the ruff spreads beneath the chin.
A realistic face, cut to the fur
The patch has no thick border: its outline follows the fur itself, so the head seems to sit directly on the fabric rather than inside a badge. Short stitches in shades of orange model the forehead and cheeks, while longer gray strokes give the chin its thick coat. The size suits the chest of a jacket, a cap or a backpack.
