Tiger Phone Case Eye of Hunter

A tiger's head in profile fills the lower half of this case, turned to the right with its amber eye fixed on something out of frame. The painting is built from flat patches of rust orange, cream and black, set against a dark navy background that leaves the top of the case almost empty.

A painted close-up of the hunter's gaze

The crop is tight: the forehead and the ear slip off the left edge, so the eye, the long white whiskers and the broad nose take center stage. Each shade meets the next along a crisp edge, which gives the picture the look of a graphic poster rather than a photograph. The empty dark space above the head adds to the sense of a tiger waiting quietly before it moves. More designs, from roaring faces to snowy scenes, are gathered in our tiger phone case collection.
