Tiger Phone Case of the Canyons

Warm sandstone blocks fill the background of this phone case, and in front of them a tiger is caught mid-stride as it steps over a pale fallen branch. Its head is turned to the left and its whiskers spread, and its striped coat glows orange and gold above a floor of scattered russet bark.

A tiger among sun-warmed rocks

The whole picture is held in shades of honey, ochre and brown, so the tiger almost melts into the stone and earth around it, much as its stripes help it disappear in the wild. The thick ruff of fur around the cheeks and the long white whiskers are shown in sharp detail, while the wall behind softens into light. It is a calm, watchful scene rather than a fierce one, the animal moving with its weight low and its eyes on something out of frame.
