Tiger Phone Case of the Dawn
$9.90 USD

Out of a deep red sky, a golden head turns in profile on the back of this case. It is drawn in fine lines of gold and cream, with a pointed ear, a full ruff along the cheek and a single red eye looking into the distance, and a soft orange halo lights it from behind like the first sun of the day. The edges of the picture fade into dark maroon.
The hour of the Tiger
In traditional Chinese timekeeping, each double hour of the day carries an animal of the zodiac, and the hour of the Tiger falls in the dark before sunrise. That old link between the tiger and the dawn gives this design its name and its warm palette. The drawing is more engraving than photograph: the coat shows almost no stripes, and the glow does most of the work. Other painted and photographic designs fill our tiger phone case collection.
