Sticker Old White Tiger

Only the black stripes, ears and features of a tiger are cut out in this wall sticker, and the wall itself fills in the rest. The animal looks straight ahead with calm, narrowed eyes, its head drawn in fine brushstroke stripes and its shoulders sweeping down in long curved lines that fade out toward the bottom.

A stencil portrait that takes the wall's color

Because the pale parts of the face are left open, the background becomes the tiger's coat: on a white wall it reads as a white tiger, while on a warm ochre wall the same sticker turns golden. The tall format suits a narrow wall beside a door, above an armchair or along a hallway. The drawing style echoes the bold black lines of ink painting, a tradition our article on the place of the tiger in art traces through the centuries. Other silhouettes and scenes wait in our tiger wall stickers collection.
