Tiger Painting Watercolor

Bright strokes of orange, violet, yellow and green build the face of this tiger, which stares out from the wall with pale green eyes. The nose and the striped forehead glow in warm orange on the central panel, while the colors loosen toward the edges into free washes of red, white, blue and emerald.

A painted tiger in five pieces

The picture is split into five vertical panels of stepped heights. The tallest, in the middle, holds the forehead, the nose and the mouth; the two beside it each carry an eye and part of the cheeks; the two shortest, at the ends, turn into abstract splashes of paint. The loose, watery brushwork gives the portrait the look of a watercolor, reproduced as a print, and its many colors suit a bright living room or an office wall. More tiger portraits hang in our tiger canvas collection.

Sizes, frame and canvas

Three sizes are offered, Medium, Large and XL, and the canvas size chart gives the measurements of each size. Every size comes as No Frame, the canvas only, or Framed, with the panels on wooden frames. The image is printed on a cotton and linen canvas.
