Blanket with Tiger and Kitty

A small tabby kitten stops at the edge of a puddle on a tiled floor and looks down. In the water its reflection is not a kitten at all but a full-grown white tiger, upside down, with dark stripes and a calm gaze turned back toward the little cat. The scene is printed in soft grays and mauves, with a warm glow from a wooden cabinet in the background.

A picture with a story

The image works like a quiet joke: the kitten sees the tiger it believes itself to be. That makes the throw as much a picture as a cover, and it hangs well over the back of a sofa where the whole scene can be seen. The reverse side is a thick, curly white sherpa, which also shows as a cream border around the print. More designs are in our tiger blanket collection, and our article what is a throw blanket explains how to use one around the home.
