Blue Tiger & Butterfly Temporary Tattoo

Butterflies in violet and blue flutter around a watercolor tiger on this temporary tattoo. The face is washed in sky blue, indigo and purple, with pale blue eyes, a pink nose and fine black stripes, and the fur trails off at the bottom into loose drips and splashes of paint. A handful of small butterflies rest near its ears or hover at its side.

A watercolor tiger on the skin

The design borrows the style of watercolor tattoos, where the color seems to bleed past the outlines instead of staying inside them. The palette stays cool, so the pink nose and a few magenta dots are the only warm notes. The tiger and the butterfly each carry their own symbols, and our article on what a tiger tattoo means looks at what the big cat stands for.
