Two snarling tiger heads face each other on this temporary tattoo sheet, one turned to the left and one to the right. Each has flattened ears, narrowed yellow eyes and a wide red mouth lined with white fangs, drawn with thick black outlines and flat fills of orange, red and yellow.
Two heads in old-school flash style
The drawings follow the bold style of traditional tattoo flash, with small drops flying from the jaws and fur flicked out in sharp points. Since the sheet holds two heads, they can be worn as a pair, one on each forearm, or one at a time. In Chinese tradition the tiger is the king of the beasts and a guardian against evil, and our article on what a tiger tattoo means looks at the meanings people give it. More designs fill our tiger temporary tattoo collection.
Sheet size and application
The sheet measures 14.8 x 21 cm. The tattoo goes on with a damp sponge pressed on the back of the paper. Its listed composition includes an acrylates copolymer, linseed and soybean oils, mineral oil, iron oxides and titanium dioxide, with blue, yellow and red colorants.
