Green tropical leaves form the face of the tiger on this cushion cover, their veins and edges tracing the stripes across its brow, cheeks and muzzle. A pink bloom sits beneath its chin, orange and yellow petals crown the top of its head, and violet fronds trail along the jaw.
A tiger made of leaves
The animal looks out from the jungle it is painted with: the eyes and the nose stay clear, and the rest is foliage in watercolor greens with touches of magenta and purple, set on a plain beige ground. Despite the name, the design shows tropical plants rather than a traditional Japanese motif. It sits well with green plants, rattan and natural fabrics.
