Japanese Tiger Sweatshirt

A tiger in samurai armor roars from the chest of this white sweatshirt. Its orange face, with white ruff and open red mouth, looks out from under a black kabuto helmet crowned by tall gold horns, while the curved neck guards of the helmet spread like wings on each side.

The tiger as a samurai

In Japan the tiger long stood for courage, and samurai helmets often carried a crest of horns or a crescent to impress on the battlefield. The print joins the two in one emblem, drawn with a bold black outline and touches of gold. The design sits on the front only, and the back is plain white. Fabric, fit and care

This is a long-sleeved, round neck sweatshirt with dropped shoulders and a regular fit, in 95% polyester and 5% spandex at 230g/m². Sizes run from S to 5XL, with each size measured on the apparel size chart. Machine wash cold with similar colors and tumble dry low; no bleach, ironing or dry cleaning.
