Maltese Tiger Cushion Cover
$11.90 USD
🚚 Estimated delivery: 1 November - 5 November
Blue tigers leap, crouch and twist across a soft pink background on this cushion cover. Each one is painted in teal with black stripes, a pale cream throat and a pink open mouth, and they turn in every direction, some climbing, some springing, some cut off by the edges of the cover as if passing through.
The legend of the blue tiger
The Maltese tiger is a blue-gray tiger described in sightings, mostly from Fujian province in China, but its existence has never been confirmed. This print imagines it in bright teal, in a flat, stylized manner that recalls Asian textile patterns. Our article What Color Is The Tiger? covers the coat colors that are known to exist, from orange to white. The pink and teal pairing gives the cover a light, playful look, far from the usual orange and black. More designs wait in our tiger cushion cover collection.
Size and fabric
The cover measures 45x45cm and is made of a linen and cotton blend. It is sold as a cover on its own, without the inner cushion.
